The Barrens is a region within the wilds of Temoric, but with no vegetation. The only shelter is a spattering of houses that were retrofit with Alfrtech before the age of Dark Hunger. The Hird and Vhosek know better then to enter the Barrens as all who enter never return. The land is also littered with frozen corpses, deathwinds and wandering undead.
