Frosthaven's main quest line consists of a number of quests, some required, some optional. In order to unlock the main quest, the character will have four separate paths they can take, three faction related and one factionless path. The three factions that can be joined are warring with each other and the character's efforts can help to secure the future of one of these factions. In the event that the character has been locked out of all factions, or opts to not work with any of these factions, they can unlock the main quest through a factionless path.
